What Is Aikido?

High Velocity Fun for Kids Ages 6 to 12!

Classes emphasize cooperation,courtesy and fun!

Aikido can be translated as The Way of Harmony. It is a nonviolent martial art based in ancient martial traditions. Students learn to receive and redirect attacks in spirals and circles without harm to the attacker. There are no tournaments or competitions. Students earn rank based on progress in skills and techniques.

Instructor Sharon Seymour began her Aikido practice in 1983 and has been teaching young people since 1984.

Children (6 - 12 years)
Monday & Wednesday—6:00 - 7:00 pm

FEES
Children $40 per month
one-time $10 enrollment fee
(all regularly scheduled classes)
